* UPDATE 25 September 2024: The lift will be fully operational as of 4 October 2024. Painting of some internal building areas will be ongoing until the end of October, but this should not be any disturbance to guests. ** The Heritage building is currently undergoing a lift replacement. Therefore, there is currently no operational elevator in the building, and access to this unit is only available through the stairwell. Required works will take place Monday to Friday only and are expected to be completed by the end of September 2024. For this reason, we are only taking bookings for weekend stays. We are offering a reduced rate to offset the inconvenience of the lift being out of service, and possible disturbance from the Friday afternoon works. Due to the already reduced rate, there will be no further discounts or compensation offered. The completion date is subject to change with no notice, due to factors out of Forster Accommodation Centre’s control, however we will always endeavor to communicate any changes with our guests, as soon as we are aware. Forster Accommodation Centre, proudly presents to you: Heritage 201 This luxurious floor-to-ceiling windowed apartment features a spacious, air-conditioned kitchen, dining room, and living room filled with natural light. You can relax on the private balcony while watching dolphins, boats, and the stunning sunset colours. The kitchen is fully equipped, yet you are only a short stroll from local restaurants and cafes. The master bedroom contains a queen-size bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet. In the second bedroom, guests will find a double bed and a single bed, as well as a beautifully renovated bathroom with a spacious shower, stylish vanity with double sinks, and a toilet. The internal laundry has a top loading washing machine and dryer. The Heritage complex is ideally located opposite the Forster-Tuncurry bridge. The apartment has a swimming pool and a half tennis court (there are tennis rackets in the apartment, but please leave them for the next guest). Underground parking spaces are available in the secure complex. Additionally, there is a lift within the complex offering level access from the street and just five steps from the car park. Watch the waves roll in at the stunning break wall, take a dip in the netted Tuncurry Rock Pools or stunning Wallis Lake, or enjoy awesome surfing breaks at Tuncurry Beach (aka Nine Mile Beach). Try your luck at fishing with an abundance of opportunities to choose from - whether it be from the break wall, one of many wharves surrounding the lake or by joining a fishing charter, Tuncurry is a fishing fanatics paradise. When it comes to activities on land, there’s an award-winning golf course, a cinema and a museum. For the kids and kids at heart, enjoy the recently built Water Playground at Vincent Fazio Park, or take the short 15 minute drive to the Big Buzz Fun Park to enjoy the thrill if a toboggan ride, speed karts, laser tag and water slides! Treat yourself to some incredible culinary options at the delicious cafes, chic bars & wonderful restaurants along the buzzing Manning Street precinct. Enjoy waterfront cocktails and modern Australian meals at Thirty Three Degrees or The Deck @ Tuncurry, both overlooking the pristine Wallis Lake. If you manage to exhaust all of that, you can take the scenic stroll over the 700m bridge to Forster!
