Let’s spend the day at the beach! Flop and drop baby!

Activity: Get the Beach towels, the beach cricket, the surf boards & Boogie boards, the paddle board, the cabana/umbrellas and let’s head to One Mile Beach!

The South end is patrolled and great for kids. The North end is not patrolled and better suited for the experienced swimmers/surfers! There is rock pools to explore at both ends and of course the famous sand dune on the North end must be climbed! Grab the boogie board and then slide down. The kids will love running and sliding down. The adults too! Great way to burn that holiday energy! This North end is also an off leash area for dogs so make sure you bring your four legged buds too!

Down the South end you will also find a large grassy area and play equipment for the kids at the entry to the beach.

There are showers at all the entry’s to the beach.

There is also nature board walk that connects the large car park near the Golf Course to the sand dune. You can walk through the rain forest and bush, truly amazing!

Lunch/Dinner: Head to @moninseafoods in Tuncurry to grab your seafood for a picnic lunch or sunset dinner. You will find Monin’s off Grey Gum Road in Tuncurry. They are a seafood wholesaler but open to the public!

@PlungeForster is also just around the corner from One Mile Beach so you can grab some takeaway or pre-order a grazing platter.
