300m from Tuncurrys beautiful Rockpool where you will find a playground, BBQ facilities, plenty of fishing space along the breakwall and a great place to relax on the sand or have a swim. Tuncurry breakwall is a lovely walk and a perfect vantage point for views along Forster Tuncurrys coastline. 200m away is Wallis Lake Fishermans Co-Op with fresh seafood available daily. John Wright Park is also 250m away where markets are held on the 4th Saturday of every month, there is also BBQ facilities here and plenty of wharf space for fishing. Thirty Three degrees is a local favourite restaurant and is only 700m away (10-minute walk) Woolworths 500m away. Forsters main restaurant hub is Wharf Street and is situated 1.4km away (a lovely walk over the bridge) where you can find a delightful selection of restaurants and bars with stunning lake views where you will often find our friendly dolphin families playing at sunset, some of our local favourites include Lakes and Oceans Hotel, Modan Kitchen, Si Senorita, Spice Monkey, Cafe Toscano, The Sicilian, Wharf St distillery and Tartt. Forster town markets are also held at Town Park (across from Wharf Street) on the second Sunday of every month.
