Also situated a stone throw from the beautiful Bicentennial walk, this easy walk is 4km each way and takes you along some of Forsters best coast line and finishes at Bennetts Head lookout which has the best vantage point to view whales cruising past and if you're lucky you may spot one of the friendly dolphin families at the dolphin nursery below the lookout. Forsters main beach and ocean baths is a 10-minute walk away where you will also find somewhere to grab a coffee and a bite (our favourites are Beachbums and Wingman). Forsters main restaurant hub is located 1.3km away, Wharf Street where you can find a delightful selection of restaurants and bars with stunning lake views where you will often find our friendly dolphin families playing at sunset, some of our local favourites include Lakes and Oceans Hotel, Modan Kitchen, Si Senorita, Spice Monkey, Cafe Toscano, The Sicilian, Wharf St distillery and Tartt. Forster town markets are also held at Town Park (across from Wharf Street) on the second Sunday of every month.
