Berringar
Welcome to beautiful “Berringar”, which means “sunset” in the local indigenous language. This absolute lake front reserve home spans over 3-storeys and boasts magnificent views across Wallis Lake.
Featuring 5 bedrooms & 4 bathrooms, this property is ideal for large families and groups to enjoy. Upon arriving into this gorgeous home, you’ll be captivated by the view from your huge, open-plan living & dining areas. When it comes to preparing your homemade favourites, you’ve got the option of the 4-burner gas BBQ, or the fully-equipped modern kitchen complete with European appliances, stone benches & huge walk-in pantry – both options with a view! When it comes to enjoying the meal, our pick is the 10-seater setting on the top deck but there is the indoor dining table as well, of course! On this level, you’ll also find 1 of the 5 bedrooms, and a bathroom.
On the middle level you’ll find 4 of the 5 bedrooms, and a separate bathroom. Among these bedrooms is the Master, which boasts its own ensuite bathroom, and glass doors leading out to the wraparound balcony. All bedrooms are appointed with ceiling fans, so with summer and winter weight blankets provided, and gas heating you’re guaranteed comfort for any climate.
Ready for a challenge? Guests can play pool, table tennis, board games or cards in the rumpus room. Or for those night in, the home features a Smart TV to relax with your favourite flicks. You will also find a bathroom and kitchenette on this level – a perfect “games night” setup!
This property is complete with a laundry with washer, dryer, iron & ironing board. There is plenty of space for your road & water vehicles here, with parking available in the Carport and on the driveway. The property also offers 2 x sea kayaks (with life jackets) for guest use (waiver to be signed).

Greenpoint is a peaceful hidden gem, just 2.4km from Seven Mile Beach—ideal for a quiet surf or a scenic beach stroll. Nearby, Smiths Lake offers calm waters perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, or casting a line. You're also just 9km (a 10-minute drive) from Forster’s main shopping centre, and 12km (around 14 minutes by car) from the stunning beaches of Pacific Palms.
In Pacific Palms, some of our favourite dining spots include the Pacific Palms Rec Club, Drift Café, Sips @ Moby’s, and Kembali Café. The charming Pacific Palms Markets are held on the last Sunday of every month.
Forster’s vibrant dining hub, Wharf Street, is 12.5 kilometres away, and offers a selection of restaurants and bars with beautiful lake views—often accompanied by sightings of playful dolphins at sunset. Local favourites include Lakes and Oceans Hotel, Modan Kitchen, Si Señorita, Spice Monkey, Café Toscano, The Sicilian, Wharf St Distillery, and Tartt. The Forster Town Markets are held across from Wharf Street at Town Park on the second Sunday of each month.

This property is 131 kilometres from Newcastle Airport, or approximately 3.5 hours’ drive (316 kilometres) from Sydney Airport.
